Sheikha Wafa bint Hasher Al Maktoum is a multimedia artist living and working in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She is also the Founder and Director of FN Designs, a multi-disciplined art gallery and design studio in Al Serkal Avenue, Dubai. Sheikha Wafa bint Hasher Al Maktoum holds a BA in Arts and Design, as well as a degree in Business Administration.
Working as a multimedia artist, Sheikha Wafa bint Hasher Al Maktoum utilizes a range of techniques to inform and challenge her practice. She finds inspiration from her home, her city and surroundings, and creates works that reflect herself and her environment.
Exhibiting widely throughout the United Arab Emirates and beyond, Sheikha Wafa bint Hasher Al Maktoum has participated in over 50 exhibitions as an artist, and has curated over 15 exhibitions. Her strong interest in developing not only her own art-making, but supporting others, has seen her become a important member of the UAE’s artistic and design-focused community and a driven artist.
